Akino Kanzaka, nicknamed "Aki," is the younger sister of Haruna Kanzaka and attends middle school. She harbors a powerful fixation on her older brother, Yuu Nagami, constantly seeking his attention and inserting herself into his activities. Akino persistently follows Yuu and strives to involve herself in his personal affairs.

An otaku, Akino possesses a deep interest in light novels and holds profound admiration for her sister-in-law, Suzuka Nagami, a successful author. This admiration fuels her own aspiration to become a writer. Consequently, she creates original stories and actively seeks Yuu's feedback on her work. She experiences frustration when Yuu shows disinterest, yet remains determined to pursue her writing ambitions.

Akino's character design features distinctive "blinding bangs" and hair ribbons. Her interactions are defined by an energetic and lively demeanor, often channeled into efforts to support or connect with Yuu, sometimes neglecting her own well-being.
