Description
Serika Kuromi serves as treasurer for Abydos High School's Countermeasures Committee, also known as the Foreclosure Task Force, the school's only remaining club. Tasked with tackling Abydos's crushing generational debt, she manages the committee's finances while working multiple part-time jobs, primarily at Shibaseki Ramen, to earn money for repayments.

Her personality presents as short-tempered and easily angered, masking difficulty expressing her true feelings. Underneath this lies a fundamentally kind, diligent nature and a strong work ethic dedicated to reviving Abydos High through relentless effort. This dedication occasionally manifests as gullibility, leading her to fall for financial scams and pyramid schemes despite good intentions.

Physically, she has navy blue hair styled in long twintails reaching her legs, dark blue cat ears, and bright cyan ribbons. A distinctive red crosshair halo floats above her head. She wears the standard Abydos uniform: a navy blue blazer with an access badge, white shirt, cyan tie, plaid black skirt with black shorts underneath, black gloves with red palms, a black knee wrap on her right leg, black socks, and black-and-white sneakers with cyan laces.

In combat, she wields a customized two-tone Beretta AR-70/223 assault rifle named "Sincerity," featuring a dark blue flash-hider, stock, handguard, pistol grip, and a Vortex Crossfire II Riflescope. The weapon displays the Abydos insignia on the stock and the school's name engraved on the receiver. Her combat abilities include the skills "Outta My Way!" (instant reload with attack power increase), "Focused Fire" (single-target damage), "Part-Time Worker's Spirit" (attack power boost), and "Wrath of the Task Force" (attack speed enhancement when using her EX-Skill).

She maintains close bonds with fellow Countermeasures Committee members Hoshino Takanashi, Nonomi Izayoi, Shiroko Sunaookami, and Ayane Okusora. Despite their frequent teasing about her personality and gullibility, she demonstrates deep loyalty and care for them. Her Shibaseki Ramen job provides income and a social hub, symbolizing normalcy and camaraderie amidst their struggles, facilitating interactions with groups like Problem Solver 68.

During the mall incident in the 1.5th Anniversary Short Animation, she was present with the Foreclosure Task Force preparing for a school trip during a summer sale. She participated in the collaborative effort between multiple clubs to resolve the chaos caused by automated turrets.

Her commitment to Abydos remains unwavering. When the Foreclosure Task Force uncovered Kaiser Corporation's manipulation of the school's debt and its connection to weapon supplies for rogue factions, she actively participated in subsequent operations against Kaiser, including a bank raid to secure incriminating documents.
