Description
Isuzu Bandou, known as Bebel, is the deceased grandmother of Mana Aida, having passed away prior to the series' main events. She was a kind and caring woman who deeply loved her family, especially her granddaughter Mana. Isuzu suggested the name "Mana" and passed her wedding dress to her daughter, Ayumi, Mana's mother.

In life, Isuzu had violet-like pale violet hair and magenta eyes. She typically wore a violet kimono with a white apron lined in green, black sandals, and dark red socks. After death, she reincarnated as the fairy Bebel, the franchise's first confirmed reincarnation. As Bebel, she possesses light cyan blue fur, long floppy ears with yellow rounded tips, and blue eyes with pink blush marks on her cheeks. Her fairy form includes a violet adornment with a golden bell and a purple head scarf.

During the film's events, Bebel appears after the antagonist Marsh kidnaps Mana, Rikka, Alice, and Makoto. She approaches their fairy partners, arousing initial suspicion due to her extensive knowledge of Marsh's weapons. To gain trust, Bebel reveals her backstory. She then aids the fairies inside Marsh's mechanical whale, discovering the film reels trapping the girls. Recognizing Marsh cannot be reasoned with, Bebel confronts him directly, declaring Mana would never give up easily. This diversion allows the fairies time to rescue their partners.

Inside Mana's shared memory, Isuzu appears in her human form to comfort Mana, who is trapped in nostalgic recollections. Isuzu encourages Mana to find the courage to leave the past behind, regain hope for the future, and help her friends. Later, Bebel supports the Pretty Cure by using the Miracle Bouquet Light to enable their travel into the future. In the conclusion, Bebel thanks Mana for protecting the soul of Mallow, Mana's deceased dog revealed to be Marsh. Mana recognizes Bebel as her grandmother just before her departure. Bebel assumes responsibility for safeguarding Marsh/Mallow's Psyche.
