Description
Nuts, also written as Nattsu or Natts, is one of the two fairy companions from the Palmier Kingdom who appears as a main character in Yes! Precure 5: Kagami no Kuni no Miracle Daibōken. He is a small, brown, squirrel-like fairy with a large tail, and he is able to take on the appearance of a young human man. In the human world he works as the clerk of a jewelry shop called NutsHouse, while in his fairy form he speaks with a habit of ending his sentences with the suffix "Natsu."
In terms of background, Nuts is a prince of the Palmier Kingdom and, together with his close friend Coco, one of the successors to its throne. He also acts as the guardian of the Dream Collet, the wish-granting treasure that the story revolves around. Before the events of the main series, he was deceived by the villain Kawarino, who disguised himself as a Pinky fairy, and he allowed the enemy into the royal palace. This led to the invasion of his kingdom and the capture of its residents. Deeply guilt-ridden and despairing over what had happened because of him, Nuts sealed himself within the Dream Collet, where he slept until he was freed after the five Pretty Cure girls gained their powers.
