Description
Fomt Berger serves as an officer in the Great Garmillan Imperial Astro Fleet under Abelt Desler. Holding the rank of Commander and later Major, he commands the Berger Fleet from a Lamvea-class vessel. Prior to this assignment, he served on General Admiral Elk Domel's staff.

His background is deeply marked by his relationship with Meria Ricke, a fellow Garmillan officer and his lover. They were together before her posting to his unit, often spending off-duty time with her sister Neredia Ricke. Meria perished during combat against the Gatlantis Empire when her ship suffered a hit, trapping her under debris near exploding energy tanks. Berger attempted rescue but was separated by a closing bulkhead, forced to witness her death through a viewport. This event left him with a facial scar and profound emotional trauma.

Meria's death drastically altered Berger's personality and behavior, fueling recklessness and self-destructive tendencies. His grief manifested as disregard for protocol and near-suicidal actions during missions. This changed upon encountering Mikage Kiryu, a human woman bearing an uncanny resemblance to Meria. Their acquaintance offered some emotional respite, though his underlying trauma endured.

In military operations, Berger participated in multiple conflicts, including the Great Garmillas War against Earth and the Garmillas-Gatlantis War, engaging in events like the Iscandar Incident. His tactical role involved piloting fighter craft like the Zedora II, executing missions with calm efficiency despite inner turmoil.

Berger appears in the theatrical film *Odyssey of the Celestial Ark*, which explores his backstory with Meria Ricke. He also features in ancillary content like the mobile game *Battlefield Infinity*, depicted as a fighter pilot in events such as the "Large-scale Planet Search," where his elite skills contributed to fleet success probabilities. He possesses dark blue hair and grey eyes.
