Torai is a classmate of protagonist Takeshi Chimatsuri in "The Samurai" OVA. He exhibits a pronounced fascination with firearms, highlighted during the opening sequence and a mid-OVA scene where he actively engages. After the arrival of the Toki twins, Akari and Kagiri, Torai and two other classmates extend a date invitation to Kagiri. She responds by disrobing and offering herself to the group, an act interrupted by Akari's physical intervention.

Later, Torai volunteers to assist Takeshi in preparing for his confrontation with the Toki twins. His assistance entails providing Takeshi with adult magazines. This occurs concurrently with contributions from classmate Atsuko and teacher Ms. Ayatsugi, who perform aerobics in leotards.
