Description
Chili Tsukikawa is an 11-year-old human girl who begins her journey as a student before launching her idol career under Laala Manaka's guidance in PriPara. Outside the idol world, she possesses light purple eyes and wears long, straightened pale brown hair styled in short twin-tails with uneven bangs and a cowlick, often dressed in an oversized school uniform. Her normal personality is gentle, shy, and easily excitable, with a noted sensitivity to unclean environments. However, transforming into her initial idol form triggers a dramatic shift: her hair lengthens slightly, gains a brown rabbit hair ornament, and her eyes turn blue. Her demeanor bursts into arrogance, pride, and demanding Celeb-type behavior. This stark contrast initially caused Chili deep embarrassment and reluctance towards PriPara, struggling to reconcile her two selves. Gradually, she learned to accept this duality and find a balance between her true nature and her idol persona.

Originally debuting as a Lovely-type idol using Twinkle Ribbon, Chili later underwent a significant transformation, switching to become a Celeb-type idol affiliated with Dear Crown, marking her as the second known idol in the series to change both her primary type and preferred brand. Her updated idol form features lengthened, dark teal hair tied in twin-tails secured by thick braids and electric blue eyes.

She serves as a core member of the unit NonSugar alongside Non Manaka and Pepper Taiyou. Her relationship with Pepper highlights contrasts: Chili's coords favor dark or soft pastels against Pepper's bright choices, her color scheme is cool-toned versus Pepper's warm tones, and her reserved nature opposes Pepper's excitability. Chili also admires Laala Manaka, initially mirroring her brand choice. A key relationship involves Janis, who communicates with Chili through her Rosette Compact, directing her early PriPara activities.

Additional documented traits include her fear of spiders and caterpillars, her spiritual animal being a peacock, and her birthday on November 15 (Kimono Day in Japan), aligning with her Scorpio zodiac sign. Her surname "Tsukikawa" (月川) combines "moon" (月) and "river/stream" (川), while her first name "Chili" follows NonSugar's spice-themed naming convention.
