Description
Kin-chan appears in the animated short film "Engimon" within the Anime Tamago 2018 project. This character takes the form of a goldfish paper balloon, possessing no hair and distinctive black eyes. Kin-chan inhabits the Amanogawa children's room alongside four fellow Engimon guardians: Haruo (a papier-mâché dog), Hebikura (a bamboo snake), Chief Daruma (a daruma doll), and Koume (a kokeshi doll). Together, they watch over siblings Yamato and Himi Amanogawa. When Himi leaves the house, drawn by an unknown beckoning cat, Kin-chan and the other Engimon spontaneously spring into action. They reveal their sentience to Yamato and join forces on a quest to locate and retrieve Himi. This collective rescue mission forms the core of the story, defining Kin-chan's role within the group dedicated to Himi's safe return. Relationships are characterized by the Engimon's shared protective purpose towards the siblings.
