Description
Yoshiki Takaishi, nicknamed "Yoshiki the Man-Eater" (Hitogui Yoshiki), hails from Japan and emerged from the Devil Factory, a fighter training facility. He departed after clashing with its leader, Shawn J. Akutsu. His professional wrestling career ended abruptly when he crippled opponent Chico Fernandez in a Lucha Libre match, earning him a permanent ban.

First appearing as a ruthless figure, Yoshiki displayed extreme brutality by violently attacking delinquents led by Mikunino. He ignored being stabbed during the confrontation, demonstrating remarkable pain tolerance. His persona shifted comically when he forced the knife out, accidentally causing severe blood loss that required emergency aid. Saved by Kiichi Miyazawa's blood donation, Yoshiki felt a debt of gratitude.

This incident forged a complex bond with Kiichi. Yoshiki trained Kiichi for his fight against Remco Yahrob and aided him against an attack by three Devil Factory fighters. Though considering Kiichi a friend, Yoshiki maintained his intent to eventually defeat him.

Yoshiki entered a Vale Tudo tournament but withdrew after breaking his hand in the first round. He later accompanied Kiichi to the Black Dragon Temple, assisting in training for Kiichi's match against Choushou. His appearance evolved: starting with long hair and a bandanna, later adopting a buzzcut and goatee in Tokyo, a flat top at the temple, and dyed hair during the T.D.K. tournament.

Following Iron Kiba's death, Yoshiki entered the T.D.K. tournament. Facing Seiya Kono, he boasted about winning with pro wrestling techniques, countered by Seiya's declaration of their ineffectiveness in real combat.

In the sequel series *Tough*, Yoshiki operates a mixed martial arts gym, training teenagers in fighting. His style blends wrestling and Muay Thai, showcasing inhuman strength and resilience forged through brutal training in Thailand where he frequently vomited blood. He possesses cauliflower ears from grappling practice.

Yoshiki is based on Yoshiki Takahashi, the first Japanese UFC champion.
