Description
Kiichi Miyazawa, nicknamed Kiibou, hails from Kobe, Japan. His biological parents are Kie Miyazawa and Kakugo Kusakabe. Seiko Miyazawa, the 14th headmaster of the dangerous assassination art Nadashinkage-ryuu, raised him. This martial art specializes in targeting vital and pressure points to cripple or kill. His adoptive family includes uncles Kiryuu Miyazawa and Sonou Miyazawa, grandfather Kintoki Miyazawa, and cousin Ryuusei Nagaoka.

As a high schooler, he sported short, spiky blonde hair, a tanned complexion, stood 172 cm tall, and weighed 60.5 kg. By adulthood, he grew to 175 cm and 75 kg, growing out his hair and abandoning the spiky style. An initially depicted facial mole was later omitted.

Personality-wise, Kiichi displayed a laid-back demeanor masking a deep enthusiasm for fighting; he actively sought dangerous situations for the thrill. Despite a delinquent reputation, he maintained diligence in academics and personal hygiene. He possessed a strong sense of heroism, sometimes taking blame to protect others, coupled with simple-minded impulsiveness. He frequently provoked potential opponents to initiate fights, often forming friendships or rivalries afterward. Over time, particularly in later manga, his approach matured into a more serious and honorable combatant, though he retained underlying arrogance about his abilities and a persistent drive to challenge stronger fighters.

His fighting journey started with street brawls, defeating the Shimakin gang and confronting the Osome brothers. He later encountered Mitsuhide Kuroda, a rival Nada Shinyō-ryuu practitioner, and Takako Kawashima, sparking rivalry and romantic interest. Under Seiko's rigorous training, he endured near-fatal sessions to master Nadashinkage-ryuu while adhering to a principle of avoiding lethal techniques.

A pivotal conflict stemmed from his father's past victory over professional wrestler Iron Kiba, which cost Kiba an eye. Seeking revenge, Kiba sent assassins: mercenary Samon, judo expert Shingo "The Reader" Aoi, and wrestler Yoshio Takahashi. Kiichi defeated each, often converting them into allies. After a vehicular assault hospitalized Seiko, Kiichi took his place for a final showdown against Kiba. He triumphed in a brutal match, though Kiba attacked him from behind afterward; this confrontation nonetheless led to Kiba's spiritual redemption.

As the 15th headmaster of Nadashinkage-ryuu, Kiichi synthesized it with Yuugenshinkage-ryuu to create Nada Shin Shinkage-ryuu. His story continued into adulthood, featuring global tournaments and adversaries like Marcio "Jet" Naitou. In the sequel series *Tough: Ryuu wo Tsugu Otoko*, he initially appeared as an antagonist before his role expanded.
