Description
Seiko Miyazawa, alias Oton, serves as the 14th grandmaster of the Nadashinkage-ryu martial arts tradition, specializing in assassination techniques and vital point manipulation. As adoptive father to Kiichi Miyazawa, he enforces rigorous training to prepare the youth as his successor. His biological family includes father Kintoki Miyazawa (13th master), twin brother Kiryuu Miyazawa, elder brother Sonou Miyazawa, and sister Yumiko Miyazawa.

Miyazawa maintains a calm and gentle demeanor, avoiding unnecessary conflict yet intervening decisively to protect others—exemplified when rescuing an art student from attackers. This contrasts his strict parenting: he subjects Kiichi to harsh regimens, withholding medical treatment during injuries to build resilience. His wisdom manifests through subtle compassionate acts, such as cleaning public toilets or curing a man's alcoholism with pressure points.

Physically, he favors a buzz-cut hairstyle and often appears in casual attire or shirtless during training. Later years show a grey hair streak and deepened wrinkles. A genetic anomaly called Tiger Foot grants him exceptionally dense leg muscles, enabling kicks that shatter stone.

His combat legacy includes a pivotal death match against pro wrestler Iron Kiba, where Miyazawa inflicted severe injuries—including the loss of Kiba's eye—fueling Kiba's lifelong vendetta against their school. As master, he wields techniques like the heart-stopping Hashin Shou and mentors Kiichi in advanced skills such as the Fist of Buddha (Bosatsuken), which induces near-death states for tactical advantage. His expertise in oriental medicine allows healing of otherwise fatal injuries, demonstrated when reviving Kiichi after a pressure-point attack.

Later, Kiryuu defeats him, leaving Miyazawa childlike with apraxia and reliant on a wheelchair. Acupuncture from Minoru Suzuki partially restores his faculties, enabling resumed training. During the Hyper Battle tournament, he battles Kiichi, reveals their adoptive relationship, and is ultimately defeated. His enduring legacy emphasizes martial arts as protective discipline over lethal force.
