Sid is a young warrior who enters a prestigious and dangerous martial competition of his own free will, driven by the hope of winning the heart of a specific young lady to whom he is romantically attached.

After claiming victory in the opening round, he is seized by doubt and despair, questioning whether winning might be a worse fate than losing. This crisis of conscience nearly breaks his will to continue, and only the thought of his beloved renews his resolve, giving him the strength to press onward no matter the cost.

When he is crowned champion of the tournament, his fears are realized. He is targeted by a fallen angel named Aquross and poisoned with a hideous, debilitating disease. The affliction brings near-paralyzing, constant pain that can only be eased by stealing life energy from angels. The sole alternative is a special drug that numbs the agony but unleashes a devastating side effect: uncontrollable and insatiable sexual urges.

His mission becomes the defeat of Aquross, a goal he must pursue while enduring waves of excruciating pain and overpowering desire.
