Moco is a young girl living on a farm with her grandfather. Her life changes forever when she meets Gō-chan, an extraterrestrial from the planet EX Panda who has come to Earth seeking "heart plasma" to bring peace to his world, forging a close bond between them.

Moco's daily routine includes interactions with mysterious forest-dwelling Chinjūmin. This peaceful existence is shattered by human invaders aiming to capture the Chinjūmin. Simultaneously, her family dynamic grows complicated after her grandmother arrives from the city.

She also faces the challenge of protecting her family's farm, threatened by replacement with a hotel development. This forces Moco to collaborate with Gō-chan and their alien companions to defend her home.

Later, Moco takes up figure skating, an activity centered on an ice-made promise. This new experience continues her relationship with Gō-chan and cements her role as a bridge between ordinary human life and extraordinary encounters.
