Dragonoid Colossus, identified as Colossus Dragon in the Japanese version, stands as a colossal Bakugan entity intrinsically connected to Neathia's Sacred Orb. Its initial appearance was an inert stone statue, guarding the Sacred Orb's chamber and witnessed in historical flashbacks by figures like Neo Ziperator and Linus. The entity awakened when Queen Serena summoned its core component, the Transformation Hub, to counter Linehalt's rampaging forbidden power threatening Neathia. The Hub successfully neutralized the catastrophic energy surge and integrated itself into Dan Kuso's BakuMeter.
A fully sentient being, Dragonoid Colossus possessed independent consciousness and formidable strategic intellect. It challenged Dan and Drago to a trial battle to test their worthiness as partners. After defeating Lumino Dragonoid in the first round, it was bested in the second, triggering Drago's evolution into Blitz Dragonoid. Following this trial, Dragonoid Colossus deployed its complete arsenal of Battle Gear—Blasteroid, Nukix, Beamblitzer, and Axator—to aid Dan, Shun, and Marucho in combat against Gundalian forces. It also offered tactical advice and supplied new Ability Cards during critical missions.
In the decisive conflict against Emperor Barodius and the Gundalian army, Dragonoid Colossus joined the united front of Battle Brawlers, Castle Knights, and allied Gundalians. During this battle, Lythirus and Stoica blinded it before Phantom Dharak destroyed it. Dragonoid Colossus claimed ancient origins, stating it encountered the Six Ancient Warriors and understood the legacy of the original Dragonoid and Dharaknoid. Dan referred to it as "the most powerful Bakugan," indicating its perceived supremacy over entities like Naga or Maxus Helios Mk2.
In the physical Bakugan game, Dragonoid Colossus functioned as an "Ultimate Bakugan Formation." Assembling it required attaching four Battle Gear components onto the Transformation Hub alongside a closed Core Bakugan. The combined G-Power totaled 1120 Gs, comprising Battalix Dragonoid (770 Gs), Blasteroid (50 Gs), Nukix Gear (100 Gs), Beamblitzer (120 Gs), and Axator Gear (80 Gs).
