Description
Jesse Glenn, known as Ethan Glenn in the Japanese version, hails from Gundalia as a Ventus-attribute brawler and one of Emperor Barodius's Twelve Orders. Partnered with the Bakugan Plitheon and wielding Vilantor Gear, he infiltrates Bakugan Interspace within Ren Krawler's team while posing as a Neathian agent. A former actor and poet, he communicates in theatrical prose, quoting Shakespeare and songs like "Hungry Like the Wolf" to confound adversaries such as the Battle Brawlers. Despite Plitheon's occasional irritation at his dramatics, they share a close bond, and he maintains strong friendships with Ren Krawler and Mason Brown.

His early missions involve abducting Earth brawlers for Kazarina's hypnosis on Gundalia. He defeats an unnamed Haos brawler and Fabia Sheen—the latter victory secured via Ren's battlefield interference. His combat prowess peaks in a tag battle with Ren against Shun Kazami and Linus Claude; after Ren's loss, he single-handedly overcomes both opponents using Gear Barricade-enhanced Vilantor Gear, solidifying his status as the only undefeated Gundalian agent on Earth.

Repeated failures against the Battle Brawlers alter his trajectory. Following defeat at the Second Shield alongside Stoica, he flees upon learning Kazarina and Stoica plan to scapegoat him. Ren intercepts him, proposing redemption through a tag battle against Fabia Sheen and Jake Vallory. Though he wins the first round alone, the pair ultimately lose. Kazarina disintegrates him afterward; his book, once filled with text, mysteriously blanks. His final words—"The spotlight has shifted to you, Ren"—cede narrative focus before his disappearance.

Presumed dead, he reappears imprisoned in Kazarina's lab with Lena Isis and Zenet Surrow. After Sid Arkale's escape, Kazarina brainwashes the trio, deploying them against Neathian defenders like Nurzak and Fabia. Hypnotized, he aids Gundalia's invasion of Neathia, contributing to victories over Elright, Linus, and the Castle Knights. Confronting Ren in combat, he breaks free when Kazarina dies mid-battle, aligning with the Castle Knights against Barodius and Phantom Dharak.

In the conflict's climax, he assists counterattacks against Barodius's forces, defeating Impaltons alongside Zenet and Mason—initially mistaking them for resurrected entities. During the assault on Phantom Dharak, he and allied brawlers are swiftly overpowered. Post-Barodius's defeat, he departs for Gundalia with Ren, Lena, Mason, Zenet, and Nurzak to establish a new government.

He resurfaces during the Chaos Bakugan invasion of Gundalia in Mechtanium Surge, pictured defending his homeworld with Plitheon and Mason Brown. Beyond the anime series, no other media documents his activities.

Trivia notes his design and speech patterns draw from British poets. He uniquely withholds his partner Bakugan in his debut battle, holds a 56% win rate, and leaves his book behind upon disintegration—paralleling Lena’s abandoned glasses. His battle record remains intact in Interspace despite losses elsewhere.
