Description
Yū Suzuno, younger brother of Happy Rain’s Ito Suzuno, was born March 14, 2003, in Tokyo. A family rift involving his rockstar father Gen Suzuno and Takeyuki Mihama led him to relocate to Hokkaido with his mother, leaving Ito in Tokyo. Isolated there, he discovered prism star Bell Renjouji through online shows, sparking his artistic passion. Post-reconciliation between the Suzuno and Mihama families, he returned to Tokyo, joining his sister and her boyfriend Kouji Mihama to co-found the band Crossroad.

Enrolling at Kakyoin Academy’s Edel Rose amid worries about the school’s financial viability, Yū adopts a tsundere persona—cloaking genuine care for Ito behind aloofness. Plagued by a height complex and simmering resentment toward dismissive attitudes about his age or stature, he compensates by proclaiming himself an “omnipotent” prodigy, adopting the moniker “Zeus” to flaunt his musical prowess. Growing up surrounded by music, he mastered multiple instruments, specializing in drums, and began composing original pieces as a child.

At Edel Rose, Yū spearheads the creation of a new song for the school’s Christmas event, stubbornly rejecting collaboration until peers convince him to collaborate. The resulting anthem, “Dramatic LOVE,” cements his reputation. Later, during the “Pride The Hero” arc, he and Ito craft a song for Hiro Hayami, only to be rejected. In “Shiny Seven Stars,” he ambitiously volunteers to write all competition entries against Schwarz Rose but hits a creative wall. A retreat to a remote island with classmates breaks his stubborn self-reliance, culminating in the triumphant completion of “Shiny Stellar,” symbolizing his growth in trusting others.

Yū’s rivalry with Hiro Hayami intertwines professional ambition and personal pride, as both vie for Bell’s partnership and prism stardom. Despite friction, mutual respect lingers beneath their clashes. Family remains his anchor: his mother highlights how his name (“to bind”) and Ito’s (“thread”) reflect their role in reconnecting their fractured household.

His discography includes bold tracks like “Zeus ♂ ~ I Am The Ultimate Star ~,” the anthemic “Dramatic LOVE,” the collaborative breakthrough “Shiny Stellar,” and “Brilliant Oath.” Pioneering “Prism Live,” he merges live instrumentation—guitar, drums, keyboard—with prism performances, becoming the first male star to blend technical virtuosity and theatrical spectacle in this hybrid style.
