Description
Elch is a Byuma resident of Freyjagard, marked by fluffy fox-like ears, a tail, prominent pointy teeth often bared in an angry expression, and unruly neck-length hair. He typically wears a light shirt with a green vest, long brown gloves, blue pants, and black boots.

Serving as his village's treasurer, Elch possesses a brash and straightforward personality. He prioritizes truthfulness over politeness in financial matters, driven by his duty to protect the village's economy and people. This fuels a fierce resentment towards the nobility, whom he views as greedy oppressors of commoners. Despite this intensity, he displays gentler moments, such as expressing genuine joy when Roo gains freedom from slavery. His mother, Winona, suspects his interest in Shinobu Sarutobi, one of the seven prodigies, who dotes on him.

Elch shows a quick aptitude for economics under Masato Sanada's guidance, rapidly learning to generate profit and outmaneuver rivals. Following Masato's success in establishing financial systems and Tsukasa Mikogami's actions against the Freyjagard Empire, Elch grows more confident and assertive in supporting the movement to overthrow the oppressive regime. He is the son of Winona, a former top village hunter, and inhabits a community where Byuma coexist with Hyuma under feudal conditions.
