TV-Series
Description
Aoi Ichijou stands among the Seven Prodigies, internationally celebrated high school students known for their extraordinary talents. She specializes in swordsmanship, widely recognized as the world's best swordswoman. Her superhuman physical abilities grant reflexes and reaction times enabling her to effortlessly dodge rapid projectiles and incoming missiles. She possesses immense strength, demonstrated by altering the trajectory of a missile while running alongside it and even riding it mid-flight.

She presents with pale skin, vibrant green eyes, and long black hair typically secured in a high ponytail by a purple bow, reaching her hips. Her hairstyle includes bangs hanging over her forehead, and she maintains an athletic, ready stance. Her speech incorporates archaic Japanese linguistic constructs, such as replacing "desu" with "de gozaru," reflecting traditionalist inclinations.

Driven by a strong sense of justice, she cannot tolerate violence against innocents and will confront entire military units single-handedly. She wields a unique katana essential for her abilities; ordinary blades would shatter under her immense power, so she uses a cursed katana—the sole blade capable of withstanding her strength. The curse's effect is redirected to prevent the blade from breaking. Her role within the group frequently involves acting as a bodyguard for fellow prodigy Akatsuki, maintaining the illusion of Akatsuki being a divine entity known as "God" and upholding the facade of the Seven Luminaries. This positioning results in minimal character development across the narrative.

Aoi attended the same middle school as fellow prodigy Keine Kanzaki. No concrete information exists regarding her background beyond this association, her activities in spin-offs, movies, OVAs, or specific story arcs outside the main series.
