Drum Bunker Dragon, also known as Fang Slade Terrestrial XIV, hails from Dragon World as the son of the Drum clan's chief. Initially hotheaded, stubborn, and somewhat selfish, he struggled to adapt to the human world, frequently clashing with his assigned buddy, Gao Mikado, over minor conflicts like food preferences. His early reluctance to acknowledge Gao stemmed from insecurity about his father's legacy and fears of inadequacy.
As a Drum clan member, his standard appearance features red scales with an orange underbelly, golden armor adorned with a ruby jewel, a dark red tattered cape, and a three-clawed wrist plate. Extensive training across multiple worlds unlocked several forms: a Dungeon World form (Brave, Drum), a Magic World form for spell combat, and a Thunder Knights form incorporating a hoverboard-like Buddy Skill activated in life-threatening scenarios. His Hero World form, used during police work, presents blue-and-white armor with accessories like handcuffs and a tail siren. Later battles saw him adopt a Crimson Battler form with turquoise-and-gold armor and drill-based cestus weapons.
A significant shift occurred during the ABC Cup. Recognizing his limitations in supporting Gao's team, especially strategically against opponents like Zanya Kisaragi, and witnessing allies like Tasuku Ryuenji and Jackknife Dragon's prowess, Drum temporarily left Gao for intensive multiversal training. In Dragon World, his father deemed him weak and dispatched him to other dimensions. There, he learned teamwork and leadership by guiding allies through monster-infested caves, gaining deeper insight into Gao's command role.
Upon returning, Drum countered anti-Dragon World tactics using his Magic World form in Gao's match against Raremaro Tefudanokimi. Facing Rouga Aragami and Iron Claw Ikarino, he relied on Dungeon World abilities. His evolution continued in the Gaen Cup, where he temporarily transformed into Super Armordragon, Drum Breaker Dragon, to defeat his father—symbolizing growing acceptance of his heritage, though lingering doubts led to crushing defeats against Demios Sword Dragon.
In Season 2, during the Hundred Demon invasion, Drum and Gao trained in Dragon World, unlocking his Crimson Battler form. He ascended to Fifth Omni Dragon Lord after the previous holder, Tenbu, was devoured by Yamigedo. This role granted a distinct appearance: a horned helmet, ronin-themed armor, and a large katana replacing his drill weapons. As Omni Lord, he initially faced rejection from the Fifth Omni Cavalry Dragons, especially Alliot, who resented Drum's lineage. Drum proved his worth by vowing to hold the title only until Tenbu's rescue, ultimately earning their loyalty. His Omni Lord abilities included destroying an opponent's monster when his buddy sustained damage at six life or less, reflecting tactical growth.
Throughout the conflict against the Inverse Omni Lords and Yamigedo, Drum coordinated with the Cavalry Dragons, receiving enhanced powers to confront Tenbu's corrupted Inverse form. His leadership culminated in the final battle against Yamigedo and Kyoya Gaen, where his encouragement helped Gao harness Future Force—a power derived from future potential—to overcome petrification and achieve victory. After these events, he returned to Dragon World to assume leadership of his clan, transitioning from an insecure heir to a respected protector.
