Description
Cyborg 0014, originally Edward Adams, was the son of Black Ghost scientist Dr. Adams Teufel. After graduating university, Edward served as his father's lab assistant until a catastrophic accident left him mutilated and near death, while costing Dr. Teufel an eye. To save his son, Dr. Teufel converted Edward into the inaugural High-Teen Number cyborg, designating him 0014.

Edward had a tall, slender build with sharp features, deep green eyes, and dark red hair styled in symmetrical spikes. His combat uniform featured tight-fitting black material with red trimming, four large gray oval buttons, padded shoulders with glowing red seams, knee-length red-accented boots, and a long white scarf. For covert operations, he concealed it under civilian attire—a white jacket, black shirt, and white jeans—which he discarded instantly during fights.

His core cybernetic ability was an advanced Accelerator, granting extreme super-speed that mimicked teleportation. Activating it made his uniform's red seams flare brightly. A self-repair function augmented this power, enabling indefinite Accelerator use without fatigue or system strain.

Prideful, relentless, and hot-headed, Edward favored aggressive assaults to crush opponents swiftly. He considered himself a natural rival to Cyborgs 002 and 009, targeting them exclusively in combat. Despite his arrogance, he harbored fierce loyalty to his father, reacting with volcanic rage to Dr. Teufel’s murder.

As High-Teen leader, Edward deployed to Japan alongside Cain/0016 and Abel/0017 to gather combat data on the original 00 Cyborgs. He emphasized their analytical mission during an initial skirmish. Later, at Dr. Teufel’s base, Edward clashed directly with 009. The battle turned when Seth/0018—possessed by the demon Atun—killed Dr. Teufel. After Azazel (the evolved Atun/Seth hybrid) slaughtered Abel and Cain, Edward attacked in retaliation but was immobilized by Azazel’s psychic powers. A negative energy surge crippled his self-repair function. Azazel finished him with a devastating lightning strike that destroyed his internal systems. Edward died in agony, unable to regenerate his fatal wounds while lamenting his defeat.

Trivia notes indicate his design drew inspiration from Loof in *Genma Wars* and Rufu from Ishinomori’s manga. His name may reference St. Edward the Confessor. Supplementary material identifies his pre-cyborg origin as Scottish despite earlier UK references, while the surname discrepancy between Edward (Adams) and his father (Teufel) remains unresolved.
