Toraūma stands as the film's primary antagonist, acting as the deceptive partner and assistant to the witch Solcière. His physical form merges equine and feline elements into a humanoid hybrid, reflecting the Japanese origins of his name ("tora" for tiger, "uma" for horse). He manipulates Solcière by exploiting her unresolved grief over her deceased magic teacher, falsely claiming the teacher withheld ultimate magical knowledge due to a lack of affection. This deceit fuels Solcière's mission to collect Pretty Cure tears.

Toraūma actively captures numerous Pretty Cures, specifically separating Cure Miracle and Cure Magical into different dimensions. He employs magical abilities to generate portals and circles for transporting characters. Within Solcière's lair, he utilizes puppetry in attempts to extract tears from the imprisoned Cures. His scheme culminates in betraying Solcière; upon securing Cure Miracle's tear, he reveals his true goal was never to resurrect Solcière's master. Instead, he harnesses the tear's power to transform into his true form—a colossal, destructive fortress—intending to spread darkness globally.

This plan is ultimately thwarted by the combined efforts of all 44 Pretty Cures. Solcière, recognizing his manipulation after hearing Cure Miracle and Cure Magical sing, allies with the Cures. She sings the "witch's lullaby," a spell taught by her master, which heals the Cures and empowers them. Using the Miracle Stick Lights distributed by mascots Mofurun, Pafu, and Aroma, the collective power of the song, the lights, and all Pretty Cures defeats Toraūma, restoring peace. His defeat concludes his role within the film's narrative.
