Dollie is an abandoned doll found adrift in the sea by Anpanman near the time of the annual Star Festival in Anpanman World. A Star of Life grants her existence. Initially, Dollie believes life's sole purpose is personal enjoyment and constant fun. Her understanding of life transforms significantly after meeting Anpanman and witnessing his selfless dedication to aiding others.

Her existence faces a crisis when her Star of Life starts to fade. This vulnerability emerges alongside Baikinman constructing a large robot based on his own origin, posing an additional threat to her life force. Dollie's journey forces her to confront profound questions about existence, echoing themes from Anpanman's theme song concerning the meaning of birth and life. Through her experiences with Anpanman, she ultimately discovers a deeper purpose to life beyond mere pleasure-seeking.
