Description
Saburo Kazeta is a young male with innate psychic abilities, depicted as a high school student. He leads a group combating evil mutants threatening humanity, displaying protective instincts toward companions like Miyoppe and Oryu. His primary capability involves transforming into two distinct mutant forms triggered by specific vocal commands. Shouting "Gōriki Shōrai" initiates metamorphosis into Sanagiman, a larva-like armored form resistant to physical attacks but slower in movement. This form absorbs kinetic energy from damage, enabling further evolution. Upon accumulating sufficient energy and shouting "Chōriki Shōrai", Saburo sheds the Sanagiman exoskeleton to emerge as Inazuman—a blue moth-themed form emphasizing speed and enhanced electrokinetic and telekinetic powers. This evolution often results in loss of clothing.

As Inazuman, Saburo wields diverse abilities: electrokinesis for generating lightning attacks, telekinesis for manipulating objects or opponents, teleportation, and flight via butterfly-like wings. His combat techniques include the "Reversal Chest" to deflect attacks, "Psychokinetic Chop" for enhanced strikes, "Lightning Typhoon" to trap foes in whirlwinds, and the finishing move "Super-Powered Lightning Drop" accompanied by his signature cry "Chest!". He demonstrates telepathic skills for communication, mental intrusion, and memory alteration.

In the anime narrative, Saburo encounters Jiro/Kikaider, an android manipulated by external forces into attacking him. After a battle where Sanagiman endures severe damage, Saburo evolves into Inazuman. Rather than destroying Jiro, he psychically enters the android's mind, helping him confront traumatic memories and break external control. This intervention resolves the conflict non-lethally. His personal relationships include a romantic dynamic with Miyoppe, where he exhibits awkwardness but underlying concern, and mentorship toward younger psychic Oryu.

Beyond the anime special, the character appears in other media. In the film "Movie War Ultimatum", Saburo is portrayed as an antagonist initially. Kidnapped in childhood alongside others due to their status as "Gates", he develops bitterness toward humanity. Leading the Monster League at Amanogawa High, he transforms into Sanagiman to battle Kamen Rider Fourze. After realizing his mentor Kageto Banba manipulated him for exploitation, Saburo undergoes a moral awakening. Destroying the Fourze Driver as a trust gesture catalyzes his evolution into Inazuman, aligning him with the heroes to defeat Kageto.

Saburo's conceptual origin stems from Shotaro Ishinomori's manga, where he debuted as a junior high student named Saburo Kazeta. This version establishes core traits: psychic powers, the Sanagiman/Inazuman transformation sequence with associated catchphrases, and clothing destruction during metamorphosis. The manga introduces supporting characters like Miyoppe, adapting motifs from Ishinomori's "Mutant Sabu" concept. Later appearances, such as in "Super Hero Taisen Z", feature Saburo using time travel to assist Kamen Rider Fourze against adversaries like Space Man Spider.
