Worton is a Bakugan of the Nonet faction, bearing the Ventus attribute and a floating, shaman-like form. As second-in-command of the Nonet, his high intelligence and perceptive nature earn him the title “Professor” among his peers. He once demonstrated these analytical abilities by sensing the absence of Bakugan on New Vestroia and correctly deducing their coexistence with humans on Earth.
Initially an antagonist, Worton was freed from the Doom Dimension by Wiseman, who offered liberty in return for aid in defeating the Battle Brawlers and reviving destructive Mechtogan. He engaged in numerous battles against them, employing signature Ability Cards such as Air Cutter, Dawn Tentacle, Deadly Tentacle, and Hyper Agility. A key tactical asset was his capacity to fuse with fellow Nonet member Balista, forming the combined entity Volkaos.
Worton’s allegiance wavered as he grew suspicious of Wiseman’s motives, especially after recognizing a transporter card once used by Masquerade. The loss of Balista further eroded his trust, culminating in a definitive break when Wiseman revealed himself as the Mechtogan Coredegon. Betrayed, Worton and the remaining Nonets refused to serve Coredegon any longer and chose to return to the Doom Dimension.
He eventually allied with the Battle Brawlers, reemerging to warn them of Mechtavius Destroyer’s imminent assault on Bakugan City and New Vestroia. He then guided them to the Current of Time, a temporal phenomenon he had discovered, where he witnessed visions of the past including moments with Balista. In a final act, Worton sacrificed himself alongside Betadron to keep the Current of Time open, allowing the Brawlers to escape and strive to prevent total catastrophe.
In the physical game, a Ventus Worton card possesses a G-Power of 960 Gs.
