She possesses black or blue hair, typically styled in long twin tails reaching waist length or beyond, complemented by blue or green eyes, a slim teenage physique, and pale skin. Her common attire features school uniforms with blazers, ribbon hair ties, thigh-high stockings, and pajamas.

After witnessing the capture of the original angelic warrior Rika Manabe, Hikari is recruited as her replacement under the title "Sei Tenshi Jibril Aries" or "Djibril Aries." This transformation necessitates wearing a halo provided by the angel Luvriel and accumulating "Amore" energy through sexual intimacy with her brother Naoto. Though reluctant due to their sibling bond, Naoto eventually agrees after Hikari persists in undertaking the role to rescue Rika.

As Jibril Aries, she masters combat techniques like the "Angel Cutter" and energy-based attacks, such as conjuring energy balls to kick like footballs at opponents. She displays rapid adaptability in battle despite initial inexperience. Her synergy with the original Jibril significantly enhances their combined effectiveness against adversaries. Sustaining these powers requires ongoing physical intimacy with Naoto to generate Amore energy.

During later conflicts, demonic forces capture and corrupt Hikari, transforming her into "Dark Aries." This corrupted state grants her mind-control abilities and heightened aggression. She remains central to events until her eventual rescue and purification, facilitated by the virtual angel Nagi (New Angelic Gaia Interface).

Hikari reappears in subsequent series installments including *Sengoku Tenshi Djibril*, where the cast is transported to warring-states-era Japan, and *Dennou Tenshi Djibril*, featuring new angel recruits in a cyber-themed setting. These appearances provide no substantive character development or new backstory details for her.
