Description
Ran Akagi, a red-haired visionary, spearheads the grassroots collective DoRed, deploying graffiti and digital subversion to dismantle government surveillance networks in the 24th Ward. His surname—a fusion of the kanji for "vermilion" and "castle"—mirrors his identity as a defiant guardian entrenched in the district’s struggles. Orphaned early, he forged unbreakable ties with Shuta Aoi and Koki Suido in the ward’s shantytown underbelly, their trio dubbed "RGB" for their vivid hair hues.

Leading DoRed, he weaponizes live-streamed art and cyber intrusions to sabotage the Hazard Cast and KANAE systems, clashing with Koki, whose ruling family upholds the status quo. Ideological rifts deepen as Ran rejects alliances with compromised factions, defying even his enigmatic mentor, 0th, linked to Koki’s mother’s past.

Kunai’s death—a comrade framed by authorities—ignites Ran’s fiercer defiance, fracturing his bond with Shuta and Koki. Cryptic calls from Asumi Suido, a voice from beyond, grant him fractured glimpses of impending disasters, entangling his rebellion with a race to free her consciousness from KANAE’s grip.

As DoRed evolves into a citywide resistance, Ran battles internal discord and external onslaughts, torn between safeguarding friends and advancing their crusade. Anchored by his shantytown roots, he fights to topple oppression without surrendering the empathy that defines him—a fragile equilibrium where leadership demands both fury and heart.
