Description
Tsurugi Momotaro, known as Momo, anchors the narrative as son of politician Jotaro Tsurugi. He enrolls in Otokojuku, a private academy forging delinquents into future leaders through martial and academic rigor. Though his early years remain undefined, he previously attended Shuei High School as a dropout and trained at Wang-hu Temple, mastering techniques like the Soaring Manipulation Bullet. This foundation secured his immediate recognition as head of Otokojuku's first-year class.

Standing 6'1" (185 cm) with a muscular build, he displays traditionally handsome features among peers—short black hair crowned by a near-permanent white headband. His Otokojuku uniform features bandages on waist and wrists, and he wields a sword with a bright red hilt. As an adult Prime Minister, he adopts formal suits but dons his uniform during critical events. His battle-scarred body serves as political proof against scandals.

Personality blends calm confidence with strategic intellect, positioning him as the voice of reason among fiery comrades. He demonstrates fierce loyalty to allies and respect for honorable rivals, yet erupts against injustice or exploitation. Compassion surfaces in acts like taming a wild tiger.

His Infinite One-Sword Style (無限一刀流) combat fuses martial mastery and ki manipulation. Signature techniques include the Mind's Eye Blade (心眼剣), sharpening senses when blinded; the Rising Ki Tiger Spirit (暹氣虎魂), unleashing ki shockwaves; and the lethal, rarely used Soaring Manipulation Bullet (翔穹操弾). He hardens objects like his headband into weapons or reinforces his body with ki. During the Peerless Mourning arc, he impersonates Date Omito using his armor and techniques like the Heavenly Bull Swastika Hold (卍天牛固め).

At Otokojuku, he leads classmates through ordeals like Mount Fuji's Four Great Trials of Terror, confronting Date Omito at its summit. Subsequent arcs—the Great Heaven-Challenging Olympic Tournament and Battle of Seven Tusks—cement his role repelling threats like Principal Edajima's kidnapping. He represents the 33rd graduating class.

Post-graduation, he studies at the University of Tokyo and Harvard University before becoming Japan's youngest Prime Minister. His anti-drug legislation sparks conflict with the EXP cartel, escalating to a staged assassination attempt. In the Casino Act arc, he risks seppuku to legalize casinos, battling mind-controlled Diet members in his Otokojuku uniform. He later retires from politics.

Legacy continues through son Tsurugi Shishimaru, who undergoes similar temple training before enrolling in Otokojuku in *Akatsuki!! Otokojuku*, and descendant Tsurugi Momoko. Momotaro appears in spin-offs like *Sora Yori Takaku* as a retired statesman.
