Yusaku, a medical student, returns to his hometown after an eight-year absence to complete a summer internship at his uncle's clinic. His earnest and open demeanor naturally draws the clinic's women—staff, patients, and childhood friends—into emotional and sexual connections with him. During the train journey home, he becomes captivated by a young woman seated across from him but hesitates to speak to her.

Arriving at a remote bus stop, his childhood friend Ibuki greets him. Transformed by maturity, she initially goes unrecognized. Later, he encounters the woman from the train in his hometown, sparking further interactions.
