Mayuki is entwined through shared history with Musashi and the other village princesses, her childhood friend. She and Musashi shared a romantic and sexual relationship, erased from both minds before the story begins: Musashi's due to amnesia, and Mayuki's as collateral in a revenge plot targeting the village leader. This collective memory loss dictates their interactions when Musashi returns.

The revenge scheme weaponizes these forgotten bonds, manipulating Mayuki and the others. As Musashi uncovers fragments of his past, Mayuki's suppressed memories also resurface. Ultimately, Musashi confronts the conspirators behind the plot, defending Mayuki and the princesses. This act solidifies their restored connections. Mayuki, alongside the other princesses, renew their vows to Musashi, symbolizing the rekindling of their bonds and a shared path forward. They commit to remaining with Musashi, supporting his education, and plan a future together, including intentions to build a family.
