He locates and accesses submerged ancient Atlantean ruins, using his Beyblade Dark Poseidon to unlock the powerful Sol Blaze Beyblade entrusted to Helios. Bakim informs Helios that Atlantis was destroyed by nations fearing the Orichalcum Beyblade's power, framing this narrative to motivate Helios to battle Gingka Hagane and harness Galaxy Pegasus's energy. He commands Helios to confront Gingka and his friends, asserting Sol Blaze requires the "wing of Pegasus" to rebuild Atlantis. Throughout these conflicts, Bakim monitors the energy output from battles between Sol Blaze and Galaxy Pegasus, secretly channeling it to power an ancient machine. He ultimately plans to use the accumulated energy to redirect the asteroid Adonis toward Earth, intending to destroy modern civilizations and recreate Atlantis on the devastated planet, a scheme contradicting the ancestral vengeance story used to manipulate Helios. When exposed, Bakim orders his subordinate Bladers to attack Gingka and his allies. Helios, realizing the deception, turns against him. Bakim then personally confronts the group using Dark Poseidon, battling Galaxy Pegasus and Sol Blaze. His defeat occurs when Kyoya Tategami intervenes with Rock Leone, overpowering Dark Poseidon and thwarting the asteroid collision plan.
