Okuma Jubei is a masked human swordsman and member of the supervillain team, the Celebrity Five. This group partners with Loki in a mission to retrieve scattered DISKs, intending to seize control of the world's superheroes and supervillains. The Celebrity Five consists of five masked operatives: former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Tim Gilliam, reporter Rosetta Riley, chef Manino Giordani, musician Joel Murphy, and swordsman Okuma Jubei. After Loki's defeat, authorities apprehend the Celebrity Five, but they are later freed and forcibly recruited into the terrorist organization Hydra by the Red Skull.
