After realizing Hydra’s true malevolence, he defected alongside fellow experiments Makoto and Chloe, leading to their rescue and eventual adoption into the Avengers as members of the Future Avengers, where he operates under the codename Codec.

Tormented by guilt over the actions he committed while working for Hydra, Adi struggled with self-doubt about his worthiness as a hero. Learning that Tony Stark had once been a weapons manufacturer intensified this inner conflict, but Stark’s insistence that past mistakes do not define one’s future helped solidify Adi’s redemptive journey. He supports diplomatic efforts between the Avengers and the Inhuman royal family, maintains contact with teammates in the field, and investigates those exploiting the crisis. His journey centers on continuous atonement, leveraging his skills unequivocally for heroism. Beyond the series, Adi appears in the comic War of the Realms: New Agents of Atlas #3. He has light brown skin, dark hair, and typically wears practical attire such as a white long-sleeve shirt.
