After an incident disrupted their flight home, twins Riki and Gaku Muroi and their grandfather Gōken brought her to Japan. Her life shifted when she discovered the "Lovely Dream," a frozen dimension where dreams are forged. Guided by a butterfly-shaped Fairy Queen, she accepted a mission to gather love energy and melt the realm’s icy stasis, receiving a star-embellished golden headband as her tool.

This artifact lets her conjure a magic baton, linking the human world to the Lovely Dream. Chanting "Perukko Raburin Kurukuru Rinkuru," she morphs into a teenage form, amplifying her magical prowess. Her spells sometimes spiral into mischief—smuggling her lion companion Simba from Africa by shrinking him into a housecat, or sparking jealousy in Yoyoko Manabe, who resents her bond with Gaku, while her own heart wavers between the Muroi twins, who view her as a sister.

One adventure traps them in transformed states after a hot spring escapade, forcing them to unravel tongue-twisting incantations during shared meals and kimono rituals to revert.
