Description
Rinne Amagane, a cheerful and energetic teenager, moves to a new town excited for school and new friends. On her first day, she dies when struck by a truck while saving a cat. She awakens in Hell at DestinyLand Academy, a school for souls. Initially unaware of her death, Rinne maintains an optimistic outlook, resolves to adapt, and seeks a way back to her mother. Her personality is marked by impulsiveness, enthusiasm, and a strong belief in willpower and kindness, traits she credits to her mother. This optimism persists despite rejection and confusion as the only human among demonic classmates.

She quickly befriends Steela, a mute and ostracized figure with a stitched appearance, defending her against bullies. This act causes Rinne to sustain a bleeding injury – impossible for souls in Hell, confirming she isn't truly dead but was brought there mysteriously. The Student Council, led by Ryu Kutou, takes interest. Ryu later reveals Rinne is the reincarnation of Eve, the first woman and mother of Cain and Abel. Ryu is exposed as Abel, seeking revenge against his brother Cain, revealed as the school's principal, Hellvis.

Rinne's primary goal remains returning to the living world, but she refuses to abandon others. Her unwavering belief empowers others, notably catalyzing Steela's spiritual growth. Abel targets Rinne, attempting to break her spirit through psychological torment and exploiting her connection to her kidnapped mother. Despite these trials, her resilience remains intact; she never succumbs to despair or compromises her belief that everyone, even Abel, can be saved. Her ability to inspire hope proves crucial against Abel's nihilistic plans.

Her journey culminates in a confrontation where her perseverance and faith enable her allies to overcome Abel's tyranny. After resolving the conflict, she returns to the living world with Steela's assistance, fulfilling her desire to go home while leaving a lasting positive impact on Hell and its inhabitants. Her arc emphasizes themes of hope, redemption, and the transformative power of unwavering compassion.
