Description
Tiger Man is a mutant and midlevel operative within the Kisaragi Corporation, transformed through reconstructive surgery by Black Lilith from a human into a tiger demihuman. He presents as a large, muscular figure wearing only long pants secured by a large belt and frequently conceals his tiger-like eyes with sunglasses. Before joining Kisaragi, he graduated from a prestigious university and earned teaching qualifications but failed to secure a teaching position due to his perceived creepy nature.
A veteran field agent regarded as reliable, cool, and dutiful, Tiger Man holds a leadership position based on his competence. Yet he exhibits a complex and unsettling side: he openly identifies as a lolicon and shota-con, expressing attraction to young-looking individuals of both genders. He clarifies this interest as non-sexual, framing it as a desire to protect children from harm and serve as their "life-sized stuffed animal." He often adds verbal tics like "meow" or "nyaa" to attract young girls. His long-term goal involves retiring and requesting Black Lilith surgically transform him into a little girl.
His abilities include enhanced physical strength from his mutation and a trump card called "Giantification," which allows him to become a giant tiger at the cost of significantly depleting his vitality. This ability once enabled him to kill a dragon.
Key relationships include his friendship with Combat Agent 6, who monitors him for potential overreach. He initially frightened Snow, a member of the Kingdom of Grace's Royal Guard, with his demonic appearance, but they developed a cordial relationship after he gifted her a sword. His most notable dynamic is with Russell of the Water, whom he coerced into becoming his "playmate" following Russell's defeat. This involved forcing Russell to wear maid clothing and serve as a hug pillow, citing Russell as his "type." Combat Agent 6 observed this relationship tested Kisaragi's tolerance policies regarding pedophilia.
Tiger Man's backstory reveals he chose mutation partly to appeal to children as a comforting figure. He remains one of Kisaragi's most powerful agents in the fantasy world where the series is set.
