Description
Vlad Dracula III, a 15th-century Transylvanian ruler, dedicated his life to defending his homeland. His brutal impaling tactics earned him the name "Vlad the Impaler," yet he carried profound shame for these acts, believing they corrupted his soul. He fell in battle during 1462, pierced by arrows in a final stand against overwhelming forces.

Satan resurrected him as the world's first vampire, granting immortality but cursing him with an unending thirst for blood. This transformation stripped his humanity, leaving him vulnerable to sunlight, repelled by crosses and holy objects, and devoid of a reflection. He gained superhuman strength, the power to shapeshift into a bat or smoke, the ability to manipulate weather, and the capacity to create other vampires.

For centuries, Dracula preyed across Europe, turning victims like Mallisa into vampires, though he abandoned promises to make her his bride. His reign devastated Transylvania, reducing it to a desolate wasteland. Pursued relentlessly by hunters such as Jonathan Harker and Abraham Van Helsing, he fled to Boston, seeking refuge within a society he perceived as dismissive of supernatural threats.

In Boston, Dracula disrupted a satanic cult's ceremony, stealing Dolores, the woman intended as Satan's bride. Her beauty stirred long-dormant emotions within him, igniting conflict between his predatory nature and desire for connection. Despite his bloodlust, he refrained from biting her, fleeing instead to feed on other victims across the city. This defiance provoked Satan's wrath, drawing attacks from the cult, fellow vampires, and his own great-grandson, Frank Drake.

Dracula's existence remained defined by isolation and torment. He resided in a decaying mansion near Brookline, a symbol of his eternal struggle between mortal passions and monstrous compulsions. His past sins continued to haunt him, manifesting in relentless enemies like Hans Harker, descendant of the original hunter Jonathan Harker.
