Description
Ragar Kertia led the Kertia Clan roughly 1000 years ago under the Previous Lord of Lukedonia. He stood tall with long blond hair and perpetually wore a mask covering the lower half of his face, a practice later adopted by his sons, Rajak and Rael. Renowned for his calm, respectful, and exceptionally stoic demeanor, Ragar served as a trusted confidant to the Previous Lord alongside Gejutel K. Landegre. His loyalty was absolute, leading him to participate in significant schemes, including the splitting of soul weapons, without question.
He played a pivotal role in Frankenstein's integration into Lukedonia. Initially tasked with capturing Frankenstein alongside Gejutel, their dynamic evolved into a unique mutual respect and friendship. They became sparring partners; Ragar helped Frankenstein stabilize his dark powers and refine his blinding speed into an offensive technique, while Frankenstein provided insights aiding Ragar's eventual splitting of his own soul weapon, Kartas. Ragar frequently defended Frankenstein against hostility from other Clan Leaders like Urokai and Zarga. After Frankenstein departed Lukedonia to find Raizel, Ragar expressed a wish to reunite with him.
In combat, Ragar ranked among the strongest nobles in history, surpassing his successor Rajak in power. He possessed full mastery over his soul weapon Kartas, enabling him to conceal his presence for assassinations. His immense speed allowed him to create Doppelganger Illusions enhanced by aura concealment and utilize Camouflage to blend into environments undetected. He demonstrated high durability, catching Frankenstein's dark aura projectiles unharmed. During their battles, Ragar fought Frankenstein on equal footing while holding back under orders to capture him alive.
Ragar entered eternal sleep around 1510, following the Previous Lord and other elder clan leaders. Before this, he split Kartas into Grandia for Rajak and Rael, designating Rajak as clan leader due to his adherence to combat honor. His influence endured through his sons; Rajak later reflected that Rael's past transgressions were forgiven partly due to Ragar's relationship with Frankenstein. Raizel noted Ragar would have been proud of his sons' brotherly bond.
