Description
Takeo is a Modified Human originally created by the Union for the DA-5 special forces team. His initial allegiance resulted from deception; Dr. Aris manipulated him by fabricating a captive sister named Teira to compel his cooperation. Physically, Takeo is tall and handsome, sporting blue eyes and distinctive long purple hair typically tied in a waist-length ponytail.

His personality blends combat professionalism with deep compassion. He consistently shows kindness toward civilians and children, demonstrated when he gave water to the imprisoned M-21 against Union orders and expressed remorse over endangering innocents. This empathy fuels his moral conflicts. Linguistic struggles, initially speaking only limited Korean learned from Tao, led to accidental crass remarks and social mishaps, including being robbed before Shinwoo intervened.

A pivotal shift occurs when he defects from the Union. Discovering Dr. Aris impersonated his sister and that DA-5 members were destined for absorption by leader Kranz, he switches loyalties. Pleading with Frankenstein to save captured children during a confrontation secures his redemption, sparing his life and enabling his integration into Frankenstein's household. He later erases his Union records with Tao, leading the organization to presume him dead.

Post-defection, he works as a security officer at Ye Ran High School alongside Tao and M-21, forming the RK group where he holds the codename 'No. 2'. His role includes domestic duties like dishwashing in Frankenstein's residence. Operationally, he specializes in long-range sniping and high-speed maneuvers, utilizing nerve-damaging bullets. He participates in critical battles, providing cover during M-21's fight against Union agents and joining the unauthorized trip to Lukedonia that crash-landed in Mergas territory.

His character arc addresses lingering trauma from Dr. Aris's betrayal while emphasizing loyalty to his new allies. He collaborates closely with Tao and M-21, showcasing tactical synergy during conflicts like defending against Cerberus members and encountering hostile nobles like Rael Kertia. His background lacks specific pre-Union origins, though theories suggest a Japanese heritage based on his name and non-Korean status within the narrative.
