Pasah acts as a subordinate to Adder. He is the first of Adder's henchmen encountered within the narrative. Following an ominous mist event, Pasah confronts the protagonist, Popo, in the forest. He accuses Popo's father of being an enemy to the forest people and the source of their misfortunes. This confrontation occurs immediately prior to Popo discovering his mother transformed into a half-plant state. Pasah's actions drive Popo's decision to leave home in search of his father.
