Description
Hideki Tōenji begins as a close friend and gaming-design collaborator of protagonist Genta, their bond fracturing after Hideki plagiarizes Genta’s concept for a shooting game and submits it to a magazine under his own name. The stolen project, titled *Star Soldier*, gains publication and evolves into a Hudson Company development. Driven by competitive envy and a hunger for acclaim, Hideki’s betrayal cements his role as an antagonist motivated by ruthless ambition.
The duo later infiltrates Hudson’s facilities, clashing within the *Beehive*—a virtual-reality simulator hosting their final confrontation. This high-stakes VR battle within the Honeycomb environment forces a resolution to their rivalry, concluding Hideki’s narrative arc without elaboration on his past, broader motivations, or future endeavors beyond this decisive encounter.
