TV-Series
Description
Gunnos emerges as a prominent character in the series' second season. This 10-year-old male sports orange hair and blue eyes, standing 132 cm tall and weighing 37 kg. His blood type is AB and his birthday is December 24. He wears distinctive stone age-inspired attire: a green elephant hat with tusks, a red tank top, a ripped brown cloth, wristbands, a loincloth skirt, and an orange equipment belt.

Personality-wise, Gunnos exhibits high self-confidence and an uplifting demeanor, coupled with a strong sense of sportsmanship and morals. However, he frequently boasts, fixates on repetitive topics, and acts as both a sore winner and sore loser. He displays notable persistence in pursuing goals, though his attitude can be perceived as annoying. Within the manga continuity, known as "Gannos" (a name derived from a football club's headquarters), he is a 9-year-old member of Team Junk. He faced tournament bans for violently using his B-Daman against hunters threatening his pet mammoth.

Gunnos debuts as a rookie B-DaPlayer, challenging the main protagonist Yamato to numerous contests and defeating him 270 consecutive times in B-Da battles. Lacking an initial Strike Shot, he partners with Yamato to locate one; during their search, he helps confront grave robbers using a fake Strike Shot. Gunnos later wins the Metal Shot in a trap-shooting tournament but struggles to wield its weight. Captured by villagers for trespassing, he repels a B-Da Gang using his B-Daman with his feet, earning their trust. As a reward, he receives Break Ogre, a stone prototype B-Daman. Combined with Yamato's returned Metal Shot and the village girl's stone prototype, Break Ogre transforms into a functional B-Daman, enabling Gunnos to execute the "Metallic Stamp" special move and permanently defeat the gang.

Driven by a promise to win for his village, Gunnos enters the Winners Tournament. Despite his inexperience, he demonstrates significant skill, progressing to the semi-finals where he faces Yamato in a notable Drive Shot versus Metal Shot clash. His tournament interactions reveal a contrast: he is rude and competitive towards Yamato, yet shows marked politeness and respect towards others like Terry and Joe. In later story arcs, Gunnos joins the main group to combat the antagonist B-daeus. He participates in intensive training and collaborative battles, contributing to team efforts. His involvement includes a friendly match that strengthens team bonds, indirectly aiding in creating a new Strike Shot.

Gunnos operates the B-Daman Break Ogre, which evolves from a stone prototype to a fully functional weapon combined with the Metal Shot. His battle record includes victories over Yamato in one-shot matches and the B-Da Gang, alongside losses in Ultimate Strike and to higher-skilled opponents like Aqulas. In the manga, he secures a win against Cain McDonnell in Ultimate Strike.
