Description
Chicken, a live animal originally destined for the dinner table, is spared by the family and embraced as an unexpected pet. After Michael trims and plucks away most of Chicken’s feathers, the bird relies on garments to shield its vulnerable skin, their practicality replacing lost natural insulation. This sartorial adaptation, born from human intervention, becomes integral to Chicken’s identity. Transitioning from food source to beloved companion, Chicken’s presence in the household is now marked by its patchwork attire, a visible testament to its altered existence and the family’s protective care.
