Mimau joins protagonist Lid Kyle on his quest to fulfill his father's dying wish: defeating the great evil Vaii. She travels alongside Lid and companion Longn, forming part of the core group later joined by Key and Bagda.

Her most distinctive feature is a strikingly voluminous, elaborately teased hairstyle. Mimau shares a mysterious red mark on her neck with Lid and other companions, identical marks later appearing on more individuals.

The group faces challenges traversing dangerous territories and treacherous seas, entering a fairy realm where wishes manifest, and exploring an ancient, crumbling mechanized city. These transitions between fantasy and technological environments mark key phases of their journey.

Mimau participates in the final confrontation against the devilish Vaii in space, contributing despite unconventional challenges like surviving without oxygen. Though Vaii is defeated, this fails to resolve deeper issues of collective greed plaguing their world.
