Description
Smoochy, alternately called Chuchu, is a bright red-skinned demon boy lacking hair who resides alone in the mountains. His solitary existence shifts when he discovers a lost human child, Foo, during the boy's quest for medicinal herbs to aid his ailing grandmother. Smoochy rescues Foo, sparking their first encounter. Both inherently kind yet burdened by profound loneliness, they become each other's inaugural friend. This bond blossoms as they spend their days playing together, dissolving their isolation through shared companionship. Their meaningful connection fractures abruptly when Foo ceases his mountain visits without explanation, halting their daily interactions. This unexplained departure concludes their friendship on a bittersweet note, underscoring the transient nature of their bond despite its deep significance. Smoochy's journey traces his initial solitude, the fleeting joy of discovered kinship, and the unresolved loss of that companionship.
