Description
Child Emperor is a ten-year-old boy who holds the rank of S-Class, position 5, within the Hero Association, making him the youngest hero at that level. His hero name is a homophone for a specific term in Japanese, which he later becomes aware of and decides to change after a significant event. Standing at 135 centimeters tall, he has light skin, short brown hair often featuring a cowlick, and large amber eyes. His typical attire consists of a light blue polo shirt, dark blue shorts, and orange sneakers, all complemented by a black backpack that serves as the storage for his combat gadgets. He is frequently seen holding or consuming a lollipop, as his intensive thinking processes are said to consume sugar.

Background-wise, Child Emperor's path to becoming a hero was inspired by his admiration for Blast, who holds the rank of S-Class 1. Prior to his independent hero work, he served as an assistant to Dr. Bofoi, the hero known as Metal Knight. He maintains his own research laboratory in Y-City. Beyond his hero duties, he also works as a cram school teacher, which reflects his strong belief in the value of education.

Regarding personality, Child Emperor is an individual of extreme intelligence with a highly analytical and strategic mind. Despite his youth, he is often one of the most mature and level-headed members of the S-Class, capable of formulating calm, collected plans and accepting criticism. He has a caring side, demonstrated when he prioritized creating an antidote for poisoned fellow heroes over directly engaging a monster, and when he showed concern for Pig God's health after the hero consumed a venomous foe. He takes his responsibilities seriously, risking his life to rescue hostages without hesitation.

However, this maturity exists alongside certain flaws. He dislikes being treated as a child and becomes easily annoyed when he feels others do not take him seriously due to his age. He can be overconfident and condescending, once commenting that truly talented individuals do not associate with those beneath them, a principle he applies to himself. This overconfidence leads to overcautiousness; for example, he recommended removing powerful heroes like Demon Cyborg and Silver Fang from a critical mission based on misplaced mistrust. He also initially dismissed Saitama as weak based on a faulty reading from an unfinished invention.

Child Emperor's motivations and role within the story are primarily driven by his intellect. He functions as one of the key strategists for the Hero Association, using his genius to analyze situations, track enemy movements, and devise plans for the often-uncooperative S-Class heroes. His reason for becoming a hero stems from his admiration for Blast, though his experiences later cause this motivation to evolve.

His key relationships are varied and complex. He was formerly an assistant to Metal Knight, and while he respects Dr. Bofoi's abilities, their philosophies clash; Child Emperor's caring and cooperative nature contrasts sharply with Metal Knight's cold, calculating, and solitary methods. He finds the arrogant and selfish attitude of Tatsumaki frustrating, though he remains outwardly polite. He holds Zombieman in high regard, appreciating his level-headed attitude and perseverance; Zombieman's words of thanks and appreciation during the Monster Association raid deeply move Child Emperor, reaffirming his resolve as a hero. He initially idolizes King as the strongest man on Earth but feels disappointed when King acts independently rather than following his strategy. His interactions with Saitama begin with suspicion; after witnessing Saitama's effortless defeat of two S-Class criminals, he becomes wary and decides to keep mission details from him.

The character undergoes significant development following the battle against the Monster Association. Disillusioned by the S-Class heroes' inability to cooperate effectively, which he feels allowed the human monster Garou to wreak havoc, he loses faith in adults and the Hero Association as a whole. Consequently, he decides to quit the Hero Association and joins the Neo Heroes. He also changes his hero name to Wild Emperor or Fudo Emperor, partly upon learning the double meaning of his original name. His true objective in joining the Neo Heroes is to infiltrate the organization, uncover the schemes of its leadership, and gather vital information about this rival to the Hero Association.

Notable abilities and powers center on his genius-level intellect, which is rated a perfect ten in association statistics. He is an expert scientist and inventor capable of creating advanced technology and analyzing biological toxins to produce antidotes in very short timeframes. Despite his age, his physical abilities are far above normal human levels; a measuring device once calculated his physical strength at 1800, surpassing that of a brown bear and even exceeding the A-Class hero Stinger's score of 1600. He possesses enhanced speed, reflexes, and durability, allowing him to dodge high-speed attacks and survive blows that would kill ordinary people.

Child Emperor's fighting style combines hand-to-hand combat with the deployment of various gadgets. His signature equipment is his seemingly ordinary backpack, which contains expanding spider-like limbs for transportation and combat, as well as a multitude of weapons including chainsaws, shredders, blow torches, and data-analysis wires. He employs a variety of robotic units, such as the Underdog Man series of humanoid dog robots, the defensive Mini Octotank, and the Tickle Bug which forces enemies to asphyxiate from laughter. His ultimate weapon is a giant mech suit called Brave Giant, which he pilots and can summon by having its scattered parts assemble around him. This powerful machine, however, has a very limited operational time of approximately two minutes and thirty-eight seconds. A notable example of his tactical genius was his defeat of the Dragon-level monster Phoenix Man; after Brave Giant's energy was depleted, he won by using a tickle robot to force the monster to remove its own costume, which was the source of its power.
