Hogator, internationally known as Fuecoco, is a Fire-type crocodile Pokémon and the primary partner of Ohara, a student at Paldea's Naranja Academy. It accompanies her during adventures across the region, including Treasure Hunt coursework such as their journey to Glaseado Mountain, where Ohara seeks natural inspiration to refine her flute-playing abilities. Hogator appears alongside Ohara during encounters with figures like Nemona and Arven, contributing to her explorations of Paldea's landscapes and interactions with its people and Pokémon.

As part of a trio of academy students tasked by Director Clavell to produce an introductory video for newcomers, Hogator participates in the group's collaborative efforts. The resulting footage showcases academy life, regional landmarks, and cooperative human-Pokémon endeavors throughout Paldea. Hogator engages in the group's daily activities both on campus and during Treasure Hunt excursions, appearing in scenes that depict academic routines and regional exploration while reinforcing the visual depiction of Paldea's environments and the collaborative dynamic between Ohara and her peers.
