Description
Meiko Maiden, alternatively known as Meiko Myoden or Meiden Meiko in Japanese versions, is a retired professional Blader. Her competitive career ended due to a permanent wrist injury, an event that also led to the disbandment of her original team, Top Blend (also called Team Baisons), which featured teammates Ai Nekki and Bantaro Kado (later Warden). Post-retirement, she serves as a secretary and maid at Komaba Sushi under owner Taisho Sushiya, managing daily operations and coaching sponsored teams like Team Persona, while hints of hidden depths and potential secrets linger.

Physically, she possesses blue eyes and dirty blonde hair with blue highlights, styled into two long braids, complemented by silver glasses. Her signature attire is a maid uniform: an azure dress with white and dark blue designs, a white ruffled apron displaying the Komaba Sushi logo, tights, brown boots, and a white headdress—a visual nod to her surname "Maiden".

Personality-wise, Meiko exhibits a cool, calm, and clinical demeanor, offering stern guidance tempered by deep affection for her mentees. Despite retiring, her Blading skills remain sharp. She is self-reliant, dismissing any underestimation linked to her injury or perceived outdated fighting style, and harbors unusual culinary tastes alongside noted hidden complexities beneath her professional exterior.

Her Beyblade expertise focuses on "Power Copying" and specialized techniques. Her primary Beyblades are the Attack-Type Keel Shark 3-60LF and the Balance-Type Tide Whale 5-80E. She also borrows others' Beyblades, including Sword Dran, Arrow Wizard, and a replica Claw Leon. Signature moves utilize low-height attacks and stadium mechanics: "Blue Fang" achieves Burst Finishes via uppercuts; "Xtreme Dash" boosts speed using stadium rails; "Xtreme Dash Abyss Fang" merges high-speed dashes with uppercuts; and "Xtreme Dash Giant Breaching" minimizes friction for dive attacks. She owns SharkEdge 3-60LF, an Attack-Type Beyblade engineered for low-profile "DIVE ATTACK" maneuvers targeting opponents' Ratchets.

Despite retirement, Meiko sporadically returns to competitive battling. Early matches saw losses to Jaxon Cross and Multi Nana-iro but a win against Robin Kazami. Flashbacks reveal a past defeat against Ai Nekki. Later, she secured victories against an unknown Blader and Jian Strong, alongside unresolved matches against Robin. A notable promise, "Just one time. Just one more time," hints at unresolved motivations tied to her past. Her recurring confrontations with Robin evolved across seasons, culminating in a decisive 14–2 win in their final encounter.

Key relationships encompass her mentorship of Team Persona, professional loyalty to Taisho Sushiya, and a strained history with former teammates Warden and Ai Nekki stemming from her injury's role in their team's dissolution.
