His defining passion is rock music, revered by him as the "Way of Rock," a philosophy he eagerly tries to impart upon Botan Nagatsuki. During the series' second season, he operates within the Bureau of Traditional Music alongside fellow tsukumogami musicians Tsumabiki and Fukie. Physically, Tsuzumi sports black hair in a buzz cut and distinctive, prominent eyebrows. He sustains critical injuries in a confrontation with a living god manifestation. Finding Tsuzumi's wounded state aesthetically displeasing, the entity causes his subsequent disappearance.
