Description
Lafall Fen Lafall, operating under the alias Gladus, is a fairy antagonist who conceals his identity to manipulate those around him. Born from an opal gemstone within the same sword as his brother, Shall Fen Shall, both siblings were forged by a moon eagle’s gaze. This bond drives Lafall’s relentless pursuit to reunite with Shall and exert control over humans and fairies alike.

In his natural form, Lafall’s mint-green hair fades to pale-yellow ends, transforming into fiery red-orange hues during combat. His striking green eyes retain their vividness regardless of emotion, and his coat hides weapons paired with volatile red energy chains used as whip-like projectiles.

Posing as Gladus, he infiltrates human society by masquerading as a loyal ally to sugar artisan Bridget Paige, exploiting her trust to regain strength. Once restored, he abandons the facade, attacking Bridget and targeting artisans Elliot Collins and Orland Langston to pressure Shall. Lafall kidnaps Anne Halford, demanding she craft confections solely for him, but her defiance—rooted in her refusal to enable wing theft or compromise fairy freedom—provokes violent clashes.

A century of enslavement to humans, followed by betrayal and the loss of a wing, fuels his hatred for both races. Seeking power as the Fairy King, he steals wings to enforce obedience, clashing ideologically with Anne’s empathy and belief in autonomy. His confrontations with Shall oscillate between manipulative appeals to kinship and bitter rivalry, as their opposing views on human-fairy relations thwart reconciliation.

Strategically ruthless, Lafall preys on vulnerabilities, discarding allies once they outlive their usefulness. Though defeated in a skirmish where Shall shields Anne, he escapes, his ambitions unresolved but undiminished. His interactions underscore a worldview shaped by brutality and scorn for compassion, framing domination as the sole path to unity.
