Description
Eva Frost, a German national and only child of wealthy, controlling hypochondriac parents in northern Germany, grew up confined to their estate. Her isolation ended only after her family lost their fortune and sold her to U-NASA. There, she underwent the forced M.O. Operation, a genetic modification procedure.
She joined the Annex I mission to Mars within the German Division under Adolf Reinhard, seeking a cure for Earth's lethal A.E. virus. Initially granted planarian flatworm abilities, she possessed high-level regeneration, allowing her to recover from severe injuries—including regrowing missing limbs or reassembling herself after being blown apart—within days. Her regeneration could restore memories even from a destroyed brain and enable duplication under specific conditions.
During the mission, her squad encountered Terraformars. Adolf died shielding Eva from their attack; his implanted explosives detonated, seemingly killing her and surrounding foes. Eva survived through regeneration. While reassembling her body, she absorbed fragments of Adolf's remains, unintentionally gaining electric eel powers. This granted her electromagnetism manipulation: emitting electricity, creating electromagnetic barriers to deflect projectiles and lasers, and sensing electromagnetic waves from living organisms. Unlike Adolf, she lacked biological safeguards against self-electrocution, relying solely on regeneration to heal self-inflicted damage.
Post-Annex I, Eva returned to Earth and underwent the enhanced Chimera Blood Operation. This allowed her to temporarily mimic others' base abilities for approximately four minutes by injecting their blood or ten seconds by digesting it.
Characterized by naivety, emotional vulnerability, and clumsiness, Eva often succumbs to panic or tears due to insecurity. Yet, she demonstrates unexpected courage and fierce determination in critical moments. Her physical appearance features long blonde hair, green eyes, a height of 162 cm, and a weight of 54 kg. Trivia notes her first experiences with unconventional U-NASA foods like beef intestines and fish testicles, which elicited visceral reactions.
